About Us
We are Vietnamese American amateur soccer club playing in multiple local Leagues in DFW (Dallas Fort Worth) area.
The Viêtnam United Football Club (VN United FC) is a non-profit sports organization whose membership is comprised of soccer players, professional business, and leaders from the Vietnamese American community and organizations.
The VN United FC was established in 2016 in Garland, Texas. The organization strives to encourage more Vietnamese American to participate in civic affairs by providing, organizing candidate forums, voter registration drives, CENSUS training, COVID-19 registration, COVID-19 vaccine, blood drive, and much more.
Major accomplishments:

Major accomplishments:
- Organized successfully DFW Asian American Soccer Tournament (DAAST) 2019 with 17 teams from 8 states in Garland, TX to promote health, wellness, and economic growth
- Collected and donated $1,300 cash and 125 boxes of RAMEN noodles for charity – Good Samaritans of Garland during Texas winter storm in 2021 due to food shortage
- Organized COVID-19 registration drive at Cali Saigon Mall to support City of Garland’s efforts in 2021
- Participated with census 2020, voting registration, housing voucher program, Carter’s blood drive
- Participated in two community conversations by City of Garland and Asian American Community
- Translated all Census, COVID-19, voting registration, voting location PSA for the City of Garland
- Organized successfully DAAST 2021 with 32 teams from 15 states coming to Garland to compete in July 2021. This helps to promote health/wellness, economic growth, and Vietnamese American heritage
- Donated 75 lunches to support Garland Police Department
- Raised money for Garland Police Never Walk Alone Foundation which provides financial support to Police officers who have cancers
- Distributed and collected Juneteenth survey for City of Garland
- Donated 82 lunches to support Garland Fire Department on Tuesday 12/21/2021
- Supported Carter Blood Drive at Cali Saigon Mall in July, 2021
- Supported Garland Crimestopper event in 2022
- Supported Garland Police Never Walk Alone Foundation's fundraising event
- Brought two VN United teams (O18 & O40) to join Orlando tournament in February 2022
- Translated 2022 primary sample ballot to the Vietnamese language for Dallas County Election department
- Organized successfully 34d Annual DAAST 2022 with 36 teams from 14 states and one team from Canada coming to Garland to compete in July 9-10, 2022. This helps to promote health/wellness, economic growth, and Vietnamese American heritage
- Translated at Garland's City Hall on May 23, 2022, for Addiction/abuse recovery center issue
- Joined National Day of Resentment on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at CD Dallas - Remembering the Fall of Saigon April 30, 1975!
- Partnered with TN Entertainment to bring the largest Vietnamese American concert to Curtis Culwell Center on July 10, 2022 to entertain soccer players & families, local residents in DFW during DAAST 2022
- Attended and support Garland Police Class 38's graduation on July 29, 2022
- Support Carter Blood Drive at Cali Saigon Mall on August 17, 2022
- Donated money to help victims of house explosion from a Spanish family on Saturday, August 21, 2022
- Participate in Children Mid-Autumn Festival with Cali Saigon Mall/Thuan Phat Supermarket & Garland Police Never Walk Alone Foundation on Saturday, September 3, 2022
- Organize the largest Asian American Soccer Tournaments (36 soccer teams from 14 states and one team from Canada) In Garland, Texas from 2019 to present to promote culture, health, wellness, and economic growth.
- Organize 1ST Responders Tournament 2023 to raise funds for their charities.
- Organize DFW Food & Music Festival (aka Night Market) to bring families together and preserve and promote Asian culture.
- Support the City of Garland to organize the first Asian Pacific American Heritage Festival 2023
- Collect and donate money to support the charity – Good Samaritans of Garland
- Donate money to support the non-profit charity – Garland Police Never Walk Alone Foundation
- Volunteer at the Clay Shooting event to raise money Garland Police Never Walk Alone Foundation which provide financial support to Police Officers who have cancers.
- Provide translation at Carter Blood Drives, COVID-19 registration & vaccine drives, Garland’s city hall, voting locations, etc.
- Distribute and collect the Juneteeth survey for the city of Garland
- Translate sample ballot to Vietnamese for Dallas County Election department.
- Partnered with Cali Saigon Mall/SF Supermarket to do voter registration drive in 2023
- Partnered with Mother of Perpetual Help Parish on 2023 election drive to take voters to the poll and provide translation
Purpose:
- The purposes for which the corporation is organized are for charitable, educational, social, and athletic purposes, including but not limited to the training, coaching, and instruction of young men and women in the sport of soccer.
- Also, to promote and encourage the sport of soccer in Texas as a safe means of attaining good physical fitness among children, young people, and adults, and in general to engage in only that conduct permitted by the regulations of the Texas Nonprofit Corporation Act.
Mission:
- The mission of Vietnam United FC is to advocate for increased Asian American participation in soccer for health and wellness, creating relationships within the football club and providing community support and comradery.
- This organization strives to encourage more Asian Americans to participate in local, social, and civic outreach programs that help increase community awareness, improve Asian American representation, and enhance the quality of life.
